I purchased a set of these shelves with the extra cost post kit to make an aquarium rack system. The shelves are sturdy and strong, albeit unwieldy to assemble with only 1 person. My main complaint is that the package came with the shelves packed one on top of the other with only plastic and a thin piece of foam in between. There was no corner or edge protection. Predictably, considering how heavy the package is, one corner was completely bashed in and there were dents on the sides. I was able to straighten the corners to reasonable approximation of how they should have been, but a few extra pennies on packaging would have been appreciated. I purchased lower cost, rolling racks from another manufacturer and these came with thick plastic pieces protecting the corners. Probably less than $0.50 extra cost for the packaging....
