As far as budget soundbar and subwoofer combos go, this one is a solid performer with a few standout features—and a few frustrations that might make you consider spending a little more for something higher-end.What It Gets Right:✔️ Easy Setup – Installation is straightforward with a variety of input options, including HDMI ARC, USB, 3.5mm, optical, and Bluetooth 5.0.✔️ Strong Bluetooth Performance – The wireless connection is reliable and quick to pair.✔️ Surprisingly Powerful Sound – Sound quality is solid for the price, and the bass is impressive considering the subwoofer is passive. Crank it up and you’ll definitely feel it—it even rattled the pictures on my wall.✔️ Simple Remote – The remote is easy to use with intuitive controls.What Could Be Better:? Volume Steps Are Too Drastic – Volume jumps dramatically between levels. Level 4 is already loud enough for a large living room, making this overkill for smaller spaces.? Loud & Obnoxious Tones – The selection tones (power on, Bluetooth pairing, mode switching) are way too loud and can't be disabled. They’re jarring and borderline disruptive.? Limited EQ Options – The preset EQ modes are very mid-heavy and not customizable, which can make the sound feel tinny depending on what you're watching.? Aesthetic Choices – The front-facing brushed aluminum (or faux aluminum) “GZOYFC” logo is a bit much and takes away from an otherwise decent-looking unit.
