I you are looking to get that extra edge of setting your race tires to the perfect pressure at the start of the race, keeping them there for the duration of the race, then this is your answer. Most racers set the tires low to allow for the tire temps to rise and the air pressure with it.Trial and error get you to the correct race pressures, hopefully.Every racer will tell you tires matter as much as the driver. When used to have to send our cars out on the track at 14-16lbs to achieve 27lbs at half, and by the end of the race the tires would be at 33 and too slick to make any race moves safely.Too low or too high and you give up grip or control. These take a little effort to install, but once they are in, you set the pressure relief to the pressure you want and send the car out aired up.As the pressure rises above you desired pressure, the valve simply bleeds the air out.Since you dealing with each tire independently, you can set them all different if you like.We like to run our inside tires on bank tracks a little higher to hold the extra load, so this is perfect. Now we simple test pressures in practice to the best wear, grip and lap times.Once we have this numbers, we set it relief valve on each tire and send them out full in the beginning of the race. Before the next race, you simply top off you tires again and let them bleed back down to the set pressure, all over. This is a very slick and effective product.
