The part itself is very easy to install. It sits just under the top lid on the right side of my Maytag front loader. The machine has been going strong for 14 years without issue until now. My machine was throwing an F21 code, which is a code for "long drain". I inspected the filter at the drain pump to find nothing at all. Perfectly clean. I stuck my finger into the drain pump and the impeller turned freely. Then I pulled the drain tube from the wall and blew high pressure air to check for a blockage. Nothing worked to clear the F21 error code. Read some articles and found some Whirpool tech posts. Several of them mentioned the pressure sensor. I figured it was a good place to start. It worked perfectly and removal/install took about 5 mins.
