I’m very pleased with this cushion, it is the best cushion I’ve tried yet for long term sitting-heavy equipment operation. I work 12-hour or longer shifts, sitting for 11 hours with only very short breaks to get out of the seat (CAT 980M front end loader). The CAT loader seat is like a throne, ergonomic design, height and firmness adjustable with a suspension that gives when going over rough road or bumps. The bottom seat cushion wraps upward and around the outside of your upper thighs for support, a very supportive, comfortable, high quality, operators’ seat.I’ve recently lost over 20 lbs. in 4 months by keto-low carb diet/intermittent fasting/one meal a day. Losing this weight also meant I lost “backside padding” that I once had so I developed an aching left “derriere cheek” and had to find a good supportive cushion to add to the excellent loader seat. Being 18” wide x 18” deep, this cushion fits tightly/perfectly between the seat belt retractor and buckle lock receptacle, the rubber coated bottom does not let cushion slide around. It is flat, which is what I wanted, and deep enough to extend out to just short of my knees for proper-all important full upper leg/thigh support.At first, I thought this cushion felt too hard, was not going to work out. It took about two hours of straight sitting to realize the two gel-pod chambers offer excellent support but allow just enough give so the cushion does not feel hard-too firm, providing instead a great blend of excellent support and comfort. This cushion has reduced my aching left “derriere cheek” by 90 percent. I couldn’t be without it now.Seems like it is well constructed, will be durable-having some weight to it-not just foam.I would highly recommend this cushion for equipment operators, truck drivers, anyone who sits for extended periods of time. I’m so glad I spent the money and tried this cushion.
