Description

Product Features: -Suitable for all vehicles, boats and off-road vehicles, etc.. -The gauge has the advantages of high precision, quick location confirmation and short start up time. - No Subscription is required, the GPS service is totally free. -Measure and display current speed at a refresh rate of 0.25 seconds -IP67 waterproof and dustproof grade -12VDC Working Voltage -Fixing dimension: 85mm diameter (3-3/8"), 70mm Depth (2-3/4”), GPS Sensor/Antenna wire is 12 feet long -Indicating Range: digital GPS Speedometer, digital Tachometer, Hour Meter, COG/ODO, Trip Meter, Water Temp, Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Voltmeter -Stepper motors used for full range of stepping gauges, great feature with its less power consumption, longer life, higher precision, etc. -With curved glass (with anti-fogging function) Product Introduction How to install it? - Cut an 85mm (3 3/8") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4”) behind the panel to fit the gauge. - Put the gauge in the hole. - Using M4 nut and C type bracket to seal up the gauge. - For the GPS antenna, you should securely fasten it in the flat position, black side upwards, preferably outside (or inside front windscreen) so that it has a clear view of the sky to pick up satellite signal. Connect the antenna cable to socket in the back of the gauge. And do not cut cable. How to adjust backlight? 1.Power on the power supply first. 2.Press the back SET button or Multi-function button (less than 2 seconds) to change the back light color. 3.Color in sequence: Red(Default)->Green->Blue->White->Yellow->Kelly->Orange->Purple->Auto Mode. 4. When users select the AUTO MODE, the back light will be off for around two seconds, and switch automatically as above sequence per minute. Which gauges need to be used with sensors? - Speedometer, match GPS antenna. -Tachometer, match tacho sensor. -Water temp meter, match temp sensor. ohm signal refers to manual page 2. -Oil pressure meter, match pressure sensor. ohm signal refers to manual page 2. -Fuel level meter, match level sensor. ohm signal also refers to manual page 2. -Voltmeter, don't need match sensor. How to be setting Tach RPM Ratio? 1. Turn on the power supply first. 2. Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to enter the setting speed ratio mode. then adjust speed ratio from 1-300 according to your request. 3. After setting, Data is automatically saved. 4. Please note: If your sensor is installed on the flying wheel panel, the RPM ratio is equal to the number of gears of the engine; If the speed signal takes from W-Terminal, the RPM ratio is equal to the half of the number of poles. 5. Normally, When the engine at idle state, tachometer shows 600-800rpm that means speed ratio is correct. If not, you can turn down or turn up speed ratio to check RPM difference. Technical Data Working Voltage 8-16VDC Backlight Red, Orange, Green, Yellow, Kelly, Blue, Purple, White( you can press the button to change) Range of Tachometer 0-9999RPM Range of Speed 0-999(km/h, MPH, knots available) Range of Water Temp 40-120℃ (104-248F) Range of Pressure 0-5Bar (0-72.5Psi) Range of Odometer 0-999999(km miles knots available) Range of Hour Meter 0-99999.9 hours Range of Tripmeter 0-999.9(km/h, MPH, knots available) COG (Course Over Ground) 0-359 Operating temperature -30℃-75℃ Storage temperature -40℃-85℃ Grade of protection IP67 Operation mode LCD display, stepper motor FAQ ASIN NO. B07JD7SHYZ How to switch speed unit? - Power on the power supply first. - Short press the back MODE button to show speed unit (Knots, MPH, Km/h). - After selecting speed unit according to your request, data is automatically saved. ASIN NO. B077YRN8PT GPS Speedometer keeps counting? - After installation in the first time, GPS speedometer needs to search for signal, that's the reason that LCD counts numbers all the time. - After getting signal, LCD will come back to 0. It is normal. ASIN NO. B0785NF5XH Why don't get RPM signal? Tachometer sometimes cannot get signal by ignition system. So, I suggest Tacho sensor signal. It is more stable. I suggest you can buy a Tacho sensor from Eling Parts. ASIN NO. is B07RR8NQ45, B07RN3HJ72. Package Includes: 1x Multi-functional Gauge 1x GPS Speed Sensor 1x Multi-plug socket 1x Installation Instruction

I uh, used the product for displaying engine rotational speed.... right? It has other abilities which are good backups to what your vehicle may already have. Getting the tachometer sense input has been a challenge as the most common sensors do not fit or work in my vehicle. I have seen I can sense RPM off the alternator directly though, and rather easily. Getting the gauge's "scaling" correct between a given engine and the range of the meters, not so simple. THere's no clear description of how to do this that I can find, although this kind of thing is pretty simple to overcome with voltage dividers and trim pots. The GPS "speed" and trip odometer is well liked. The lack of remote mode AND set buttons is a bummer.
