Purchased this item for home use. The first one I received would not turn on (yes, I plugged it in). I then requested a replacement item, and they did ship it in a timely manner. This second one will at least turn on, but that is it. The surface will become very hot and then shut off in about 4 seconds. I would not recommend purchasing this item, especially for the price they have it listed for.
