This monitor is as thin as your laptop screen and comes with a magnetic stand/case that doubles as a screen protector. This should fit in any bag the holds your laptop - it's that thin. It comes with two USB-A to C cables, one specifically to power the monitor, and a special HDMI to mini-HDMI so that you can use your laptop's hi def HDMI output. As soon as I plugged in the two cables, the monitor powered on and the computer instantly recognized it as a second display and duplicated the laptop main display onto the extension monitor. I went into the windows settings to extend the screen onto the new monitor so that I could utilize all that extra screen real estate. In the pictures you can see how the monitor perfectly matches my 15.6" screen and then folds nicely in it's slim cover, ready to travel. My monitor is a touch screen that is glossy, so that's why the color may look a bit darker on the extension monitor. Once I set the font size and resolution on the extension monitor to match my main display, everything was perfect. This a a must have for travel or simply expanding your home laptop setup.
