I bought this in order to monitor the vacuum levels under my basement slab. I still had very high radon levels after I had a radon removal system installed....using the standard method of boring a hole in the slab and venting the area under slab with a fan and venting it through the roof. The gage was helpful in determining that I needed was a "3 drop" slab venting system. Since the vacuum levels under the slab are in the hundredths of an inch of water range, a very sensitive gage like the Dwyer Magnehelic was needed, full scale of 0.25 inches H2O. It worked very well!
