Sometimes it seems to help the neuropathy on a short term basis. It is not a long term treatment.I've used this 4 times & I'm not sure if it works or is helping me. Idkwhat its supposed to feel like.I've have to use the lowest of 25 settings & its still mildly uncomfortable. (Prickly & ?)The cord is waaaay too short. You have to reset the intensity & wave every time you restart it.My wife love it we would recommend it to friendsReturn window closed and this stopped working in month 4. Now it is a worthless piece of plastic I will add to the recycling bin. I gave it 2 stars because while it worked I enjoyed all the features and variety of settings. It did help when it was working.it gave some relief to pins & needlesWorked great initially. As time progressed each use got weaker and weaker if it maintained the strength of the initial use this would be a five star unit which seems like the more you use the system the weaker it gets.Returned, would not recommend this productFor those that have never used a TENS unit it is basically a device that sends small electronic pulses through your skin to stimulate your muscles. Essentially it feels like small little shocks that makes your muscles jump. If you are very sensitive you might not be able to handle this kind of massage. I have personally been using this time of massage for years on my shoulders as I can never seem to keep them relaxed without regular use. So for me personally I didn't have any issues using it but some people might.The unit itself is small and fairly lightweight so it can be easily moved around my house depending on where I find it most comfortable to use at the time. The machine has a variety of pulse settings and intensity levels which does help to personally the "massage" to the person and the level they need at the time. You also get 4 pads with leads so you can also be "massaging" other areas of your body at the same time if you need it.One drawback is that the instruction manual is very lacking. If you have never used a TENS unit before you will just have to play around with the settings and levels to figure out where you need to set them and how to get started. The biggest issue is the length of the cord though. It is so incredibly short that while you can easily move the unit around you can only use it if you are basically right next to a cord. Overall the unit works well and really does help with my plantar fasciitis.
