Champion Wakeboarder Bob Soven's signature competition vest, designed and manufactured by Body Glove with Bob's input. The vest is designed with an ultra-low profile that includes a segmented aerolite foam for an ergonomic fit that makes for an overall lighter vest. A clear profile keeps the foam on the front and back for more flexibility so there is no strain on the user when split-second decisions have to be made out on the water. The Comp Vest is made with Body Gloves' highest performance stretch material known as Magnaflex. Material that is 10% lighter than Neoprene and takes on less water while providing maximum stretch and performance. The vest is made to this champion's specifications for maximum comfort, durability, and flexibility. Equipped with mesh drain panels that are strategically placed, the comp vest is better able to reduce water build-up that could potentially end up restricting the user. Most Comp or competition vests are made to keep competitors light and with the least amount of water drag while also maintaining maximum flexibility. They are, however not US Coast Guard approved, a Comp vest does not offer the same kind of protection and buoyancy as a USCGA life jacket does.
