To unfold the wheelchair, lift the backrest from the folded position and pull it upwards until it locks into place. 2. Adjust the footrests to the user's preferred length by swinging them away from the wheelchair and pulling or pushing the adjustment button. 3. To operate the brakes, the attendant should squeeze the levers on the handlebars to apply the brakes and release them to allow the wheelchair to move. 4. Fold the wheelchair by releasing the backrest lock, pulling the backrest down towards the wheels, and folding the frame in half. 5. Remove the footrests by squeezing the adjustment button and swinging the footrests away from the wheelchair.
