This is great mattress, but as others have stated the mattress never rose to 10 inches.I will say I was able to move the boxed mattress into my bedroom myself. My 12 year old helped me carry it up the stairs to the main floor. Once I assembled the bed frame (which was easy and fast) I unpackaged the mattress on top of the frame and once in place I let the mattress sit for 72 hours. The mattress rose to 8 inches almost immediately but never got any higher.I have slept on the mattress two nights so far and it is comfortable. It is much softer than my previous bed and states that’s medium- firm but it’s not as firm as I expected. I decided I would keep an open mind and I have much less back pain then normal.I thought the cooling aspect would be a joke especially after adding a mattress cover and sheets. I was definitely wrong, I sleep with three dogs, and I’m always waking up sweating…. But not the last two nights. I don’t climb into bed and think wow this feels cool, but I’m not kicking blankets off an sweating.Shipping was great. Amazon dropped the box at my front door the box was well taped and there were several layers of plastic around the mattress. There has been no odor and definitely no bugs.Been using this for 3 months now. IT came vacuum packed and rolled tightly. I am used to old school box springs and mattresses (which cost tons more).I had low expectations but was surprised by how nice this is. Its been super comfortable and not too hot at night.I think it feels like a good 5 year mattress - I dont expect it to last 10-20 years,But overall really happy with it and shocked how low the price wasI slept through the night and woke up rested with zero pain for the first time in I don’t even know how long. This mattress is so comfortable, soft yet supportive. So so glad we found it.Arrived On-Time Easy To Install Great Price 4 Stars...Felt a difference the first night I slept on it!Purchased for my 10 year old son. He absolutely loves this mattress!It's too soft on the edges for me, I can't normally sit on the edge of this mattress. I am light weight that's why it's rather sturdy for me in general what I personally like. I wish I had even firmer mattress. If you are light weight, I would say this one would be middle firm for you.We ordered two of these...one for me and one for my son. My son loves his but mine is too soft. We're putting it on guest bed and buying something else.
