Ok I ordered this and it came within a couple of days. It’s a little hard so if you throw it to someone just don’t hit them lol. I purchased the lighter one. It didn’t have any line so I purchased some floating line and I got a SS carabiner to attach it to the life ring. My boat is 30 ft and didn’t have one of these. I’m not hanging this out anywhere. I have a large cockpit hatch and I stow it in there for easy access plus it’s out of the sun so the UV ‘s don’t eat the line. I hope I never have to use it. It is a USCG requirement for vessels 24’-30 ft.
