Vent comes assembled but none of the joints have been glued so you will need to do the final assembly with glue prior to installing. Everything fit well so assembly went together with no problems. The directions mention using screws to attach the cap, you will need to provide them if you opt for that type of installation. Screws should be included or at least they should the size and type of screw they recommend.
