I have a Craftsman model# CMXGWAS020733 2800 psi gas powered pressure washer and recently it started losing pressure and the pump would get real hot with any idle running. Did a lot of searching to hopefully be able to find a replacement pump to get my pressure washer running properly. Found this pump on Amazon with a reviewer that stated he has the same model pressure washer I have. Ordered the pump 2 days ago and received it this afternoon. I couldn't wait so I got out my tools and took off the original pump and mounted up the replacement. It fits PERFECT! The original keyway was still on the motor shaft so there wasn't a need to purchase another key.Hooked up my water hose, pressure hose and trigger gun with my surface cleaner attachment and I'm back at full pressure!First impressions are great so far. I'm happy with the pump and the fitment, easy replacement. Now time will tell for the longevity of this pump ... back to cleaning my family's driveways and sidewalks. Also, I'm gonna try to get into the old pump and see if it's fixable just to have a backup.Exactly as expected. Installation was basically remove 3 screws then replace part, then put back the 3 screws. My power Washer is back and running. No leaks. No idea if it will last but I have used it for about 3 hours and so far so good. Hopefully it will last a while.I purchased a Craftsman model CMXGWAS020733 summer of 2020. first year worked flawlessly. winterized it, stored in heated basement. Next summer first 3 hours ran great, then a leak occurred. It was gear oil. Snugged up the screws and winterized again, stored in heated basement. This year, started up first pull as usual, started leaking oil again then boom, whole housing exploded. Cheap white metal cast. Bought this replacement pump at 0730 on 9/1/2022 was delivered same day. Installed in 3 minutes. Works better than the original. Housing is much more durable. Full pressure in seconds.The pump arrived quickly and was simple to replace. Works great, pressure appears to be better than before.I have a old brute power washer that I’ve had for years. It wasn’t ever used much, but I got it out to use it on some camper parts and it wouldn’t pump. I ordered this pump and installed it. It has plenty of pressure, seems like actually more than I remember the old pump having. Only thing is the hookup’s are at the front now, which is no big deal, but could come into play on another design power washer. All in all I’m satisfied!Simple to install, just make sure you add oil when needed and it will last longerI was apprehensive about purchasing only because I wasn’t sure if it would fit my pressure washer but it did! I have a Craftsman model# CMXGWAS020733/Briggs and Stratton engine 163cc/7.25 ft lbs torque. Super easy bolt on to the engine ( same exact bolt pattern as original pump). I felt the difference immediately, It felt very powerful the second I pulled the trigger!like
