I like that it is a Moen product with a lifetime warranty and I like the appearance of the simple design. The handle is nice heavy metal - feels solid in the hand - no plastic anywhere that you touch. It was easy to install - the cover plate screws lined up perfectly with an old Moen rough valve that was installed 21+ years ago. The screws for the cover plate show when installed but I believe that is matter of how the rough valve (the brass valve behind the handle) was installed - I think for most installations the handle will stick out from the wall a bit further than what the Moen example shows - but it still looks nice. I just installed a new 1222 cartridge and wanted to update the handle too - now it looks great and operates smoothly - hopefully it will last 20 + years like my last Moen!
