Description

Product Description Keep water pressure regulated in any commercial or residential setting with this direct pressure regulating valve. Designed to prevent surges and maintain consistent flow, this water pressure regulator features a tamper-resistant EB45 design that locks in the desired pressure. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for quick, tool-free installation—just insert the pipe, and the stainless steel teeth grip tightly while the O-ring compresses for a secured seal. Easily removable with the included SharkBite disconnect clip, this regulating valve is made from lead-free and durable brass. From the Manufacturer The EB-45 Pressure Regulator features a half cartridge design that offers both the performance of a high end, cartridge based valve and the price of a traditional regulator.

As with all Sharkbite items this was easy to connect and works great. Unfortunately, my last pressure valve from Sharkbite went bad after only 7 years. I think the major issue was that because it can rotate in the fittings it eventually flipped upside down and rusted at the pressure valve. I'm not sure if that's a common problem, but this time I ran a strap around it and fastened it so that it'll stay right side up.
