This mat is compatible with polyester and vinyl ester resin, making it perfect for a variety of applications, including boat, automotive, pool, molds and general fiberglass repairs. When polyester or vinyl ester resin is added to the chopped strand mat, the binder dissolves allowing the short strands to be moved around. This allows the mat to conform to tight curves and corners. NOT compatible with epoxy resin. What makes this product special? This easy to use mat can be cut or torn to size.
