This steel trash can is an excellent home office upgrade. We purchased a black with a square lid (sold separately) and a green with a slot lid. That allows us to have one can for trash and one dedicated to recycling in our home office.The bin is about thigh high and very heavy. Don't expect to pick it up to empty it!The lids are sold separately in different shapes and *strangely* the feet for the bin come with the lid.Some set up is required.1. Screw on the feet. The black can had two tight holes that required us to use a wrench to twist them into place, but the other holes turned easily. Once installed, the screws are poking up into the bin until you cover them with the pan.2. Place the cheap plastic pan down inside the bin to cover the screws and prevent them tearing your bag.3. Screw on black flip-top lid with 2 small screws provided.4. Attach silver metal rim that holds down the bags using two provided plastic clips.5. Add stickers to the outside to indicate bin type (we skipped this).Ta da, you're done.Enjoy your new home office upgrades!
