This is a good well made Supplied Air Respirator. It does not include a supply unit, it is just the helmet, hose, and an adapter to standard Air Line Quick Disconnect. This helmet fits well, is moderately comfortable (let's face it wearing a helmet is never like wearing a ball cap) and allows a clear field of vision when wearing it. Depending on you supplied air pressure you may want to remove some or all of the open cell foam in the hose. It's designed to be fed from a compressed air line with some pressure behind it. They use the foam to quiet/allow expansion for moderate flow rates etc. If you plan to hook this up to a belt mount PAPR type supply unit you will likely want to remove this foam. If you have a good pressure supplied air line from a compressor, let a LOT of it flow through to blow out the remaining solvent/plastic fumes from the foam mounting inside the hose. When you put this on at first the air coming through is loaded with adhesive solvent smell, and or residual odors from the open cel foam inside. On the Fit: I have a huge head (XXL motorcycle helmet size is tight), and this helmet fits me fine. I can wear safety glasses underneath it comfortably when putting it on so I don't have to bother removing them to don it in the shop. The helmet is easily adjustable to head size. There's a belt mount that's not the best quality, I made a small clip on holder for my normal leather belt/pants that I find works better, but the included hose support belt is adequate for occasionally use.Get yourself some of the adhesive lens protectors for this. They don't have the best adhesion, but a bit of blue tape on the edge keeps them on and they are sacrificial much cheaper items than the replacement lens. I find they let you work without fear of scratching up your very expensive PPE Helmet in the lab or workshop.
