The sensors transmit the pressure and temperature readings every 5 minutes when they are mounted on the tires. Importance Information: This is not the product you need to watch constantly, if there is a problem, the unit will beep and the red light will flash. Therefor, place it somewhere within your peripheral vision. Try to keep the monitor away from other major electronics. If you have to use a valve extenders, we highly recommend straignt metal valve extenders. Never use rubber or plastic valve extenders. Monitor Location： Users can mount it on the windshield using the suction cup. Place it on the dashboard using the included plastic panel. Alerts: High Pressure: Pressure increase of 20% or more of the baseline pressure. Low Pressure: Pressure loss of 10% or more of the baseline pressure. High Temperature: Internal tire temperature of the setting or greater. Rapid Leak: When the sensor detects abnormal loss of tire pressure, it will send an alert to the monitor immediately. Sensor Installation: The sensor is designed with anti-theft function, you can mount the sensor with the hex nut, then mount the sensors with the included wrench. Battery Life and Low Battery Indicator: The monitor has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery which will function for up to 2500 miles' driving before requiring a re-charge. A fully charge takes approximately 4 hours. Waterproof, Dust-proof Sensor The sensor, along with the O-rings, keeps the sensors away from any weather and environmental damage. Long transmitting Range： The sensors transmit can be up to 50ft, however, this may be vary depending on the size of the vehicles, other electronics package, and amount of the metal between the sensor and monitor. You will need to add a signal booster if the monitor doesn't receive the signal from all the sensors.
