This is a really nice and lightweight flat top grill for camping. I have really taken a liking to it over the past several weeks and even have been using it inside in my kitchen quite often. I really like that it's so compact and lightweight, but still provides plenty of cooking space. Which is one of the reasons why it is so great for camping. The griddle itself is made out of aluminum and has a nonstick coating. Being made of aluminum not only keeps its weight down, but it also helps it heat up and cool down quickly. The nonstick coating has made it incredibly quick and easy to clean. I also really like that it uses the canister style butane tanks because they are cheap and can be purchased in bulk. I have about 20 of them, so I should be good for quite a while. They are also the fastest and easiest type of fuel tank to connect and disconnect. So far the burner has ignited on the first try every time, and it heats pretty evenly. I haven't cooked other types of food on it yet, but I have cooked breakfast foods on it at least 10 times, and it has just been great every time I've used it. Things like bacon, eggs, and flappady jacks just cook so easily on it. I have been extremely happy with it so far and it is now a permanent part of my glamping kitchen setup. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
