Description

The Digi2 is the digital response to the scuba diving must-have pressure gauge and depth gauge. As a diver, you need an instrument for taking under control the depth and the residual air (or gas) in your tank. It is for your safety. The Digi2 has been developed with the main concept to provide all the information in a compact device, showing the data in digital and large numbers. The information is easier to read than a traditional pressure gauge with needle and small numbers. It features and a high-contrast display showing depth, tank pressure, residual dive-time, water temperature. It gives you also the maximum depth reached and how long are you diving. The Digi2 has everything in one anti-scratch display, there are no buttons, no menu to navigate. Great to get all the data in one shot instead to read multiple gauges. It is compact, lighter than the traditional analogic gauges, great for traveling (122 g | 4.3 oz). Battery with a sealing sensor. If the battery cover is not screwed correctly the Digi2 will advise you (Cressi patent). › See more product details

This is a great Guage, it is really easy to read. It has just the basic useful information that is un-cluttered and well layed out. If you shine a strong dive light or uv light on it the gauge face will glow in the dark a soft green background with black LCD digits. The only minor drawback is the hard plastic cover that serves 2 functions. It protects and powers down the screen by the embedded small magnet it has in the lower left corner. That magnet is also used as a switch to change the display units of measurement from Imperial to Metric or vice versa. The cover can get lost thus rendering the gauge stuck and also unprotected. I easily fix this by drilling a 1/8 thru hole in the middle edge of the cover. I then teathered it with a nylon string to the hose coupling. This way it is easily accessible and the cover still can be used as intended. I am surprised Cressi didn't just do this instead of letting the cover be untethered making it susceptible to loss. Other than that the Guage is great.
