This cage worked great to house two orphaned kittens. Since we already had four cats and a chihuahua, we needed to be able to keep them safe while the rest of the house got used to them. There was plenty of space for a small litter box and their food and water bowls on the first level. As they grew, they didn’t need the ladders as much to go between levels. We zip tied the shelves down because the kittens kept popping them out of place while they played. The hammock was strong enough to hold both of them while they slept. We hung a scratching board on the lower level and hanging toys on the top levels. This cage provided plenty of space for them to play until they became big enough to join our other pets.01.22.24 We have had multiple kittens quarantine in this cage since 2018. We’re up to 16 cats now. This cage has held up well. We have a rug on the top of the cage which has helped the older cats get used to kittens as they were added to our cat clan.
