This valve has Screwdriver Shutoffs, and PEX fittings...neither of which are pictured here. The R127SS valve also features a rectangular handle adapter, rather than the splined shaft as depicted.I know, because I ordered one and had to return it since it didn't feature the splined shaft, which I needed for my AS trim kit.Try the R117...PEX water inlets and a splined shaft, if that is what you are looking for. It's the one that I choose.Note: If you are using the sweated outlets, like on the R117, you will have to disassemble the valve in order to sweat / solder the the copper pipe and / or furnished brass plug to the valve body. This, I found out, is common practice when using sweat joints on brass shower valves, as the mechanics of the valve are plastic and would melt when the valve body is heated enough to melt the solder during the sweating operation. Having said that, disassembly is a fairly straight forward process. After examining the RS127SS valve body, I found it to be manufactured from high quality parts. If I needed this model, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
