The quick connection is a useful improvement over the old 'fixed' system.In terms of set-up, it is quite simple although you will need a No. 27 spanner to tighten the delivery hose connector to the power washer itself. At least there is a substantial metal housing within the plastic connector to apply the turning force of the spanner. Once connected to the power washer it is a simple push-to-fit / collar connection at both ends of the delivery hose, which, incidentally appear to be brass fittings so should last a while.The delivery hose is a useful 7.5m which, unless your car is the size of a bus, should allow you to place the washer once and nnot have to move it around the vehicle. The hose is noticeably more flexible than the old Karcher hose which means that it can be rolled up surprisingly tight for easy storage.The had gun works well either with an existing lance (not provided in this set, you have to use your old one) or without to give a fan-type spray, which is useful for applying pre-wash to, say, a car. If you are into snow foam then this is just the job.Of course, it is too early to say about durability / reliability. But there is nothing to suggest that it won't last as long as the item it replaced (circa 10 years).Overall I am very pleased with the product and would recommend to anyone who wants to replace an existing gun plus hose with something longer.
