This trash can is not only eye appealing, but super sturdy! We are a family of 6 and this baby will last us forever! It's not your usual cheap material stuff that you find everywhere and have to replace in about a year or two. It also fits nicely in my kitchen. I wanted to buy a lid less trash can because lids are always nasty and you constantly have to clean them. The opening is perfect too, not too small where you have to stuff trash or bend/smash them to fit through, but not too hig either where you see the trash either. It's perfect for a busy family to just toss trash in (hands and feet free)! Easy to clean up too. Very elegant piece for a kitchen and brings the trash look to a while new level. Also, I noticed some reviews said there was damage. Mine was delivered/packed very carefully! In two boxes and also had like a linen around it with plenty of styrofoam. So it was very carefully packaged. Maybe they fixed that issue. I love my new trash can and hope this helps. You won't be disappointed!! Well worth the extra money spent.
