Bought these BC boots for myself this winter and they are great! I've used in trail and off groomed trails an they have exceeded my expectation. I used these boots combined with a "Smart Wool" hiking sock and my feet for the most part were warm and dry. The conditions this winter have been cold in MN ( 0 to -20 F ) so in my opinion there is nothing these boots cant handle. My only complaint is the zipper at first glance seems a bit "chinsy" for this heavy boot but with anything if you take care of it- it will last as long as you need it to.
