Have not had to use them and hopefully my 4 wheel drive keeps me from ever needing to use them. I put them on to test their fit. They fit great. now I can cruise through chain controls without having to stop. If I ever have to use them, I will be so glad to not have chains and cables spinning and slapping my wheel well and the road and making tons of noise and damage. Hopefully these socks hold up.
