Our 1.8-density foam has a compression rate of 44 pounds and a 100 % recovery rate. That means affordable comfort with just the right amount of softness and support. Whether you are looking for a thick or thin quality foam material, we've got you covered with our custom cuts and large variety. Make sure you measure twice, order once! The measurements you should record are the length, width, and height of your cover from seam to seam. If you need help determining the correct size, we will be happy to assist you! Our foam is ideal for couch cushion filling, stuffing for crafts, outdoor cushion inserts, chairs, pillows, ottomans, stools, and DIY headboards. They're also great to use in your RV and camper or as a cushion foam for boat seats, car seats, golf cart seats, workout benches, cots, and window seats. If you need to transport fragile items, place a foam sheet in a carry case for extra cushioning to prevent breakage. Your package may come vacuum-packed, rolled, or compressed. Once you receive your cushion and upholstery foam, use a pen or a pencil to make a small incision and break the seal. Do not use a box cutter. The foam should be fully expanded within 72 hours. We combined a 1 inch layer of ventilated gel memory foam and a 5 inch layer of high density support foam for a pressure relief and support with a medium feel.
Gel infused memory foam regulates temperature while conforming to the body to ease pressure points. A ventilated design helps to increase airflow through the memory foam layer. The heavier parts of the body that press farther into the gel memory foam are pressure points, and memory foam has the ability to soften and relieve those areas. Firm high density foam provides a supportive, durable base. High density foam has a density of 1.8 and compression rate of 44lb.
